GIFTS FROM THE BIKEMAN (NOVEMBER, 2009)

In late fall, we received a call from the widow of The BikeMan of Rochester, who graciously offered to donate some bike parts to us. Over the next several days, volunteers from RCB spent considerable time with Mary, getting to know her and through her, Andre The BikeMan. Many hours and several van and trailer trips later, RCB was the grateful beneficiary of this very generous person. We have a new friend, and our clients will benefit greatly from her thoughtfulness.
